The Equipment and Tool Institute wants your articles for the Industry Update Newsletter.  The purpose of the ETI Industry Update is to keep our members and other interested industry professionals informed on current news within the tool and equipment industry as well as deliver updates on ETI Events, industry committees, and information on trends and general business topics.

What affects one, sometimes affects all.  This is your chance to bring topics to light that may facilitate a collaborative effort and encourage open discussions which can lead to problem solving.  It may also get people talking and thinking within the industry.

This is an excellent opportunity to offer insights to your peers on relevant topics within the tool and equipment industry.

  • ETI and Non-ETI Industry Committee Updates

  • General Industry Case Studies
  • ETI Membership Testimonials with quantifiable results from Membership in the Institute or from attending ETI Events. This is not intended to include product information or testimonials  
ETI Industry Update Article Submission Guidelines
  1. The article must be in MS Word.
  2. Pictures should be submitted in jpg format.
  3. The article can be an unbiased, original piece you or someone at your company wrote.  It is the responsibility of the author to obtain permission for the use of any copyrighted material, including images.
  4. The purpose of the article is to educate and inform the Industry Update readers, not promote your company, products, and services.
  5. The article should not contain video or sound.
  6. We reserve the right to edit articles for spelling and grammar; and artwork for size to fit our format.
In addition, ETI invites all of its members to submit articles on their company, products and services for inclusion in our ETI Industry Update. This is your opportunity to highlight who you are and what you do, and get some free PR in the process. Newsletters have great potential to promote your business, inform your potential customers, and retain existing customers. They can increase affiliate sales, market new products, or keep your customers informed of changes. Don’t miss out on an easy opportunity to promote your business. It's a practice that has a double impact on your bottom line - by decreasing expenses and increasing profits.

ETI Member Company Profile Article Submission Guidelines
  1. The article must be in MS Word.
  2. Pictures should be submitted in jpg format.

  4. The article is not intended to be a product endorsement or sales pitch.
  5. The purpose of the profile is to introduce your company, products, and services to potential customers, partners, and other companies that may be interested. Make sure the article is informative, and covers the following elements:
     
    1. The history of your company. When was it founded, how long has your company been in business.
    2. Headquarters location and other major branch locations.
    3. What is the mission and has that changed.
    4. Has the company expanded? Have there been any mergers or acquisitions?
    5. Has your company received any special certifications, awards and/or recognition?
    6. What is unique about your company and its products?  
    7. In general terms, what are your company’s plans for the future?
